The Touhou Project is a fictional aka fake series. I am completely against the sin of idolatry, which is the intentional worship of anything besides the one true Lord God.

I remember in the past I would hear people within the Touhou Fandom talk about a series known as Koishi Komeiji's Heart Throbbing Adventure otherwise abbreviated as KKHTA. Thus, I decided to examine it.
I assumed it would be like the Touhou Walfas “Diamond in the Rough” where it has violence. KKHTA also has violence. Therefore, here is my examination of the series from a biblical viewpoint. Even though KKHTA is a fictional aka fake series, the Bible is a nonfiction aka real series.
First off, I am completely against violence, it is wicked.
Psalm 11:5 ESV The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
What else is a sin? There is also the sin of murder, which is defined as unjustified killing of another person.
Exodus 20:13 ESV “You shall not murder.
Deuteronomy 5:17 ESV “‘You shall not murder.
The Lord is also against physical abuse of other people as it falls under violence. The Lord is as well against physical torture of other people as it falls under violence.
Proverbs 10:11 ESV The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life, but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.
The fictional aka fake series Higurashi has fandom overlap with the fictional aka fake series Touhou, such as with 【東方】 Koishi Komeiji's Heart Throbbing Adventure Part 7 English uploaded by the Youtube channel @koishikomeijiheartthrobbin297 whose channel name is “KoishiKomeijiHeartThrobbingAdventure” when watching Sanae’s backstory I recognized the music by myself as coming from Higurashi.

I’m not surprised there’s this reference though, considering how there’s violence in both KKHTA and Higurashi and the LORD God is against violence, to be violent is to be sinful.
Then again, looking at the description which says “42,909 views Aug 4, 2021
I changed one of the songs at the beginning because of a copyright strike.” it may have just been this particular Youtube channel that added this track at the beginning.
There’s also a reference to the fictional aka fake series Umineko which was made by the creator of the fictional aka fake series Higurashi 【東方】 Koishi Komeiji's Heart-Throbbing Adventure Part 9 (English) “repastral 52 subscribers Subscribe 1.5K Share Save 90,423 views Dec 24, 2013 Re-upload of part 9 since it was (mistakenly?) taken down by copyright claim. Thankfully I found english subtitles from the original video.” when a moon rabbit shows up as said by Yukari.

Obviously there’s no giant rabbit on the moon, but it goes to show that humans may think they understand something but really they don’t

I mention that verse because we are saved by faith alone in Christ, the Lord. We must only worship the one true Lord Jesus. The concept of “moon rabbit” is a reference to the false moon goddess Chang’e as the owlcation site continues to elaborate here
“According to legend, the moon rabbit is a companion to the moon goddess Chang'e and pounds the elixir of life for her in its pestle.”
Elixir of life? The only way to gain permanent life is by faith alone in Christ, the One True God! What causes our death? Sin! We are all born with it, all human descendants from Adam. The wages of sin is death. Yet Christ Jesus paid the price for sin for us. Therefore, when we believe in Christ, we are made permanently clean of all sin, clean of all death, and thus we have permanent life.
To intentionally worship a false god like “Chang’e” as an actual god is evil, wicked and an abomination to the Lord, as it is the sin of idolatry!

Then in 【東方】 Koishi Komeiji's Heart-Throbbing Adventure Part 19 [1/9] (English) around the timestamp 7:51 (as of the time writing this, July 18 2023, Part 9 has not come out) the following subtitles show which says “Top official of a certain country: After all, it's thanks to you and the Lunarians that this world is so peaceful, is it not?

The description on the Touhou wiki reads “The Lunarians (月人 tsukibito, lit. "moon people"), also 月の民 (Tsuki no Tami, lit. "people of the moon") are the people living on or coming from the Moon. The term refers to a specific species, but more generally refers to humans and gods that ascended from the Earth and took control of the moon. This does not include moon rabbits.”
Are there real-life lunarians? In terms of people who lived on the moon, surely there were human astronauts who travelled up on there.
The problem is when it says “coming from the moon… more generally refers to gods that ascended from the Earth and took control of the moon”. You may wonder about the existence of lowercase g gods and the Bible does comment on this with the following verse:
2 Corinthians 4:4 ESV In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God
The false god of this world does not bring peace, he blinds the minds of unbelievers. Only the glory of Christ, the image of God, brings true world peace.
There’s an allegory here about how some people might think that the moon may give light, like the term “Lucifer” for the Babylonian King, related to the Devil, yet it only gets light from the Sun, related to the true light the Son of God Jesus Christ.
So the fictional series of Higurashi, Umineko, Touhou, have connections to the false moon goddess Chang’e, thus I rebuke the sin of idolatry.
Yet, I still look at Touhou content, seeing anime pictures of it, listening to it’s music, because I recognize it’s fake and not real. Here comes the lowercase “g” god word again

With these sorts of studies, it’s useful to look at fake series and see just how connected they are in their fakeness. When you watch content, you are consuming content, as some put it. Therefore, when I consume Touhou content, I know that Touhou has no real existence. That is why I use my knowledge of the fake series Touhou to create articles such as these, to evangelize to other Touhou fans, so that they recognize the sins of intentional idol worship, murder, torture, violence, within their series and have faith alone in the one true God Jesus Christ, amen.
