Madoka magica rebellion movie full English subbed

At the beginning, there’s a teacher who is speaking to her class and says the following:

Teacher: Class, just because the date of the apocalypse foretold by the Mayan calendar has passed, I don't wnt you thinking we're safe. No way! We're not. This is only the beginning. A solar or lunar eclipse will occur upon every high holy day of a certain religion next year, for a total of six. Isn't that scary? It's quite ominous, isn't it? Meaning that by 2050, our world will undergo a certain event... Which is what, Nakazawa-kun?!

Boy: Um, well... I don't know what you're talking about...

Teacher: Now, that won't do. In the country in question, it seems 41% of the population believes that the Second Coming of Christ will occur within the next 40 years! The seven trumpets of the Book of Revelation may blow any minute! Well, to be honest... I think perhaps the ending of the world may not be such a bad thing.\

One place I’ve known about for many years is aka “Your Homu-Home” Created Dec 2, 2012 moderated by u/Vakiadia with the flair “Akemi Homura is a Goddess” who has posted over 2000 Daily Devotions. The About Community subreddit description states “A place to worship Akemi Homura from Puella Magi Madoka Magica. Homura must be in all posts no matter what.” and their Discord server title is “Apostles of r/homura”. When I try to enter, Discord says “Whoops… Unable to accept invite”

There is only one God, the LORD God. There is no such “goddess” apart from the One True God: The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit.

Madoka Magica is clearly a fictional anime series, it’s fake. Akemi Homura is not a real character; she does not exist at all. The problem becomes when people genuinely worship idols, which is the sin of idolatry. Based on this description, I worry that u/Vakiadia may have committed the sin of idolatry by actually intentionally worship this false god. Even though the source material is literally a work of fiction, a fake fabrication from the mind of the author Gen Urobuchi, this fan of this fictional franchise may have elevated this character to false god status and created this false worship ground.

There’s also the yuri lesbian ship between Madoka and Homura. In terms of lesbianism, homosexuality, being gay, I affirm the LGBTQ+ community and support them, they are not inherently sinful.

I looked into u/Vakiadia’s post history and found this post:

where they say start quote: “Now I'm not exactly a scholar or anything, but besides the parts of the New Testament that explicitly tell the resurrection story, this also asserts that 1 Corinthians 15:3–7, Romans 1:3–4, 2 Timothy 2:8. …  Papyrus 46, one of the oldest NT manuscripts still in existence, dates to the 2nd-3rd centuries. It contains many of the verses I linked above, in Greek. … "Jesus died… we still worship him" to the… line of "Jesus died and was raised after three days so that we might be saved;"

So, they are familiar with Jesus Christ, Bible verses, which is good. It is fact that Jesus Christ died, was buried, and resurrected 3 days later, as this pays the penalty for sin. Therefore, all people will eventually become believers in Jesus Christ and thus go to Heaven.

Personally, I am a fan, not a worshipper, of Akemi Homura as a fake fictional character, not as some “goddess”. And I am also a fan of the fake anime series Madoka Magica. The problem is, and this can happen with any series, is when it becomes a false religion, as only Christianity is true, and commits the sin of idolatry through genuine worship of anything as a false god. I worship Jesus Christ as God.

If they said they merely liked Akemi Homura, that would be fine. But the problem is the worship, the “god” association, the spiritual terminology that must remain exclusive to the LORD God. Look, I evaluate things based on how I see it. I read the text and these particular words r/homura has written are sinful as stated in the Bible.

Exodus 34:14 ESV (for you shall worship no other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),

Matthew 4:10 ESV Then Jesus said to him, “Be gone, Satan! For it is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.’”

Luke 4:8 ESV And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

Exodus 20:3-6 ESV “You shall have no other gods before me. “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.
