Journal Entry 77 – Depress Depression
November 30th (Friday) 2017
You know, I find it funny. I don’t even care that’s it’s Friday. Sure, it’s the weekend, but for me, that only means one thing.
I’m sitting in my room watching anime. [Anime is simply a visual medium, like other content that exists, like books. And like books, there can be good books, like the Bible, cook books, training manuals, fun happy lighthearted books, interesting gripping story books that motivate you]
And when all of these people are there, it’s directed into my mom’s own perfectionism and to release it by getting angry. Very angry. As in, yelling so loud that you can hear it all across the house loud. (Yes, it even hurts my own ears when I’m in my room with the door closed, that’s why I so badly want a noise cancelling room and/or headphones,
Matthew 6:25-34
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Okay, you know what, I’m not worrying about the future, even if that future is close by. Just because it’s close by or it’s something big or dangerous or annoying doesn’t make it any less of the future. In fact, it proves that it’s more of the future by me not having a clear visual of it and having to exaggerate it this much. “It’s going to horrible and awful and terrible”. Yeah, my perception of it, I just need to stay positive and I’ll be happy. (Though, easier said than done considering I’m naturally pessimistic).
Philippians 4:4 - Rejoice in the Lord alway: [and] again I say, Rejoice.
Romans 5:3, And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Psalms 5:11 - But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
I will not fall for these perfectionistic traps of catering my obsessions of evangelism into my own compulsions of reading a bunch of bible blogs about them.
Ok, that was beautiful. You don’t have to be crazy about religion and keep on doing all of these things to get people to come, just invite people to your local church or something and talk to them at your place about the Bible, an intellectual study. [Evangelize just at your own pace, relax and don’t stress my friends. Faith alone saves, that’s all that’s needed] For now, we must wait until the Holy Spirit provides oppurtunities, or we can create oppurtunities ourselves, not by barging into someone’s house and knocking on their door like the police military, but doing good deeds for other people (like how Jesus healed the sick) and getting them to believe that way. [Don’t be forced to do good deeds for people, but do it when you feel like it, out of kindness]
Besides, a job can’t fire you for that. You’d be known as the good Christian, while all those crazy fundamentalist “evangelical” door knockers, fundamentalist street preachers and fundamentalist bus ministers will be known as the crazy people (they already are though). [These people are crazy because they are fundamentalists, meaning they promote the lie of forever hell, when the truth is that Hell is temporary and everyone will be saved. All will believe in Christ with faith alone and go to Heaven]
For example, a person asked me if I ever drank alcohol. I said no. Curious, he asked my why that was the case. “Are you a child of God”. Not to make him mix me up with all the other religions who call their supreme deity the same name, god, I said “I’m a Christian”. Of course, looking back on it now, I should have told him that I’m just a Christian saved by grace through faith (and to avoid terms that carry on the same meaning of “fundamentalist’ in this day and age).
So, I’ll relax and just stick to that.

Today in. Beautiful. Not just the answer, but the Lord helping me. He knows me. He knows my situation. He knows that I don’t know anybody in that since the few friends I have are all in. So He made me this situation where it was as though I had friends and as though I wasn’t scared to go up to people and (not evangelize but) ask them for help or the solutions.

Anyways, it’s already been 50 minutes of me typing this (felt so quick though, since I was typing quick and really getting into this), so UNCATEGORIZED EVENTS!
Yesterday Yesterday, I didn’t have my phone since I left it at home to charge, but today I got it here and because of yesterday, felt not urge to get addicted to it and on a never ending cycle of reading meaningless and pointless Bible blogs

If you’re suffering from evangelism crises, talk to people. I talked to my dad and he reassured me saying only Jehovah’s Witnesses and Mormons go door to door and streat preach. Evangelism is supposed to be happy and fun, enjoying the gift of life. If all we were supposed to do is go to the same doors with the same messages and the same response, then how can we enjoy the rest of life. [I am against Jehovah’s witnesses and Mormons who believe that only a few will be saved, since all will be saved. I am against their work salvations, since it’s faith alone that we are saved]
the experiences are touching. I may be saddened and wounded and stressed, but at least I’m not like them. I don’t care about rewards in Heaven, I’m just grateful that I’m saved, I just want to serve the Lord, that’s it. I won’t evangelize to earn rewards in Heaven, but because I love the Lord. Not out of fear of loss of rewards (and the consequences of that), but out of love for God. I’m just not in the situation where I can earn much rewards. The end. [That is, the truth is everyone will receive the same reward of salvation, by grace through faith, all will go to Heaven]

Evangelism should be a part of every Christian's life. However, many believers are scared to death of this word, because they envision street corner proselytizing, door-to-door "cold calling," or sweltering nights in a jungle somewhere. Also, many Christians feel nervous speaking and unequipped to deal with people's questions. Yes, some believers have a "gift of evangelism" and they're called to reach out to the world in dramatic ways. However, all of us are called to be witnesses for Christ and this should be a soft and natural extension of our everyday lives.
While I may have grew up with Jesus is savior, now I trust on allabouttruth.org. Someday I will get his messages of OSAS and make it not so pushy with intense evangelism, that will be my goal and God is calling to it. I will heal from this suffering, I have made things right. Amen.
