Journal Entry 109 – Buyte the Dust

January 2^nd (Tuesday) 2018

World is such a diverse place and thus we need the opinions of others, such as girls in computer science.

My goal is to inspire, not just those already in STEM fields, but those typically under-represented in it (such as girls in computer science) outside of it to not feel alienated due to cultural stereotypes (such as girls partaking in computer science).

I consider myself lucky because unlike the rest of my family, I’ve been born into this circumstance to not just make my dreams become a reality, but all of their dreams as well. And who am I to throw away that potential?

I love reaching out to younger kids who are typically under-represented in STEM fields (for example, girls in engineering), and spreading my excitement to them.

There, I had to integrate technology with the daily attendance of the volunteers. I was frequently asked at times by my supervisors to aid them in data warehousing and sorting algorithms based on the regional databases of the query languages.

I can apply computer science outside of just formal education.

Finally alone home and it feels so nice. We went to doc, but they went to mall by themselves. This is the life, no more rushing or getting interrupted. I told them that I think I have OCD but my sister thinks that it’s autism. Anyways, mom told me that it’s just mannerism, so yeah not gonna worry ‘bout it. It’s just stress and I’ll just have to deal with this stress, since I’m not done school just yet.

Ahhh, now I’ve got nothing to worry about in life. The THING? Homie, I’ll be perfectly happy no matter what, I don’t need to have His power for that, too much responsibility that I can’t handle. And I’m ok with that. [That is, the Lord does what the Lord does, and I will follow Him and let Him lead]
