When I use the word evangelism, evangelize, evangelist I use it in reference to the Koine Greek terms respectively. For me, I consider this to be completely different from some random denomination title that started in the 18th century, the term dates back farther than that. Since really, literally any Christian denomination can evangelize. It’s not a term that should be exclusively hijacked by particular groups. Which is why I still use the word personally, with a term reflecting more so it’s historical usage. For me it’s synonymous to “spreading the Gospel”.

Still, I personally consider Christian Universalism to be the “true gospel”. Since good news has to be good for everyone, so if a person burns in hell forever or is destroyed forever, then that news wasn’t good for them.
